Rental Terms
Payment
Fixed amounts are payable in advance. Unless credit prearraned. Rates are based on an 8-hour day, 40-hour week and 160-hour month, all Equipment is plus tax.
Freight
Will be charged to the customer from Barstow, CA.
Physical Loss or Damage
Physical loss or damage to the equipment is customer responsibility.
Repairs
All repairs the result of abuse will be charged to the customer. Customer is responsible for normal servicing and maintenance as described in the Caterpillar Lubrication and Maintenance Guide. All ground engaging wear items are the customer responsibility. (ALL MAJOR REPAIRS WILL BE DONE BY EQUIPMENT LEASING, MINOR REPAIRS DONE BY CUSTOMER).
Abuse
Customer will be charged for any repairs resulting from lack of above servicing or abuse. Abuse includes, but is not limited to, operating machine while low on ANY lubricant or coolant, low on oil pressure, excessive fuel pressure, or dirty oil filters. Customer is responsible for stopping operation any time machine overheats, loses pressure, or loses prime. Failure of any shutdown system DOES NOT alleviate customer's responsibility.
Points, Edges
All tractors will be shipped with at least 50% Ground Engaging Tools (GET). Units not returned with like GET will have additional charges due.
Fuel
Tractors will be shipped with 100% fuel, and shall be returned in like condition. Make-up fuel added on return will be charged to customer.
Insurance Requirements
INSURANCE: On or before the date the equipment rental begins, all customers must acquire insurance showing our company as "Additional Insured" for the full replacement cost of the equipment being rented. The insurance forms will indicate the complete equipment information listed (Make/Model/Year/Vin/Value).
PRELIMINARY LIEN: All customers will supply us with preliminary lien information: Contractor, Lender, and Owner. Information is required before equipment will be released.
